  • Train store staff, enabling them to consistently achieve or exceed Mystery Shopping scores through effective training & development programs
  • Ensure that all staff in consumer facing roles are trained in accordance with PUMA’s Retail Training Standards 
  •  Develop a training set-up that allows efficient roll-out of training based on ideal global training and development journey and enhance training programs and policies to support the selling service across all channels.
  • Plan, organize and execute Retail Training within the country. Develop seasonal training calendar to clearly identify priorities, reach and training frequency
  • Ensure existing training programs are customized to market needs. Wherever possible, leverage as much as possible from existing training programs from Global and Region.
  • When required, develop country specific training materials and tools for Retail in collaboration with other functions (e.g. Merchandising, Operations), with support and sign off from the Country Retail Director and the Regional Training Manager.
  •  Work closely with Operations team to identify training needs to develop store staff’s skills and knowledge in line with market and consumer expectations and PUMA Standards
  • Manage the Mystery Shopper Program (MSP) and use it to improve Retail Sales and customer service standards within the country.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to Franchise stores (either direct or via Train-the-Trainer) to ensure customer service standards are consistent with global PUMA standards
  • Work with Retail support functions for country specific projects and needs Work closely with regional or international functions as needed
  • Liaise with other country operations personnel either formally or informally Support talent development and succession planning through implementation of ideal curriculum
  • Identify high performers during training and store visits and identify additional developmental opportunities to further accelerate and enhance their careers with PUMA


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Management or any other relevant field
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, Powerpoint and e-mail (Lotus Notes or similar)
  • English at business level
  • 3 years training, coaching and people development experience in a customer service oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear)
