Deskripsi

serve as a senior legal advisor, providing legal counsel and guidance and strategic advice for Lazada’s operations in Indonesia.
collaborates with other internal stakeholders to identify, develop and execute strategies and initiatives that accomplish the company's business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
protects, defends, and represents the company and its affiliates in external engagements with government authorities, regulators and other external parties.
drafts, reviews and negotiates a diverse array of complex commercial contracts, including both standardized and unique agreements.
ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and commercially practical legal advice on licensing, regulatory and counterparty risk.
incident management (e.g. responding to regulatory investigations / inspections by authorities / assisting in PR incident responses).
implement country-wide contract frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines.
implement country-wide compliance programs.

Kualifikasi

Must have a Law degree from an accredited law school and at least 8 - 10 years of working experience in a legal corporate environment within a fast-paced, fast-evolving and dynamic environment, preferably working as a Senior Lawyer. Prior experience in a top tier law firm (in addition to the above in-house experience) is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in Technology, Commerce or Retail industry is preferred.
He/she must also have successful experience in leading negotiations on complex, high value, contracts, and agreements.
Exceptionally good communication skills (written and spoken).
Demonstrable ability to identify and remedy complex legal issues. He/she must also have exceptionally good skills in legal negotiation, and be comfortable in handling dispute resolution matters and incidents, in each case within a fast-paced business environment.
He/she must be a result-driven and service-driven individual, has solid problem solving skills, be highly adaptable and flexible, work comfortably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, have an ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and meet tight deadlines, be proactive and self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail, and have an ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress.

Tentang Lazada Group

Lazada Group adalah sebuah perusahaan e-commerce Asia Tenggara yang didirikan oleh Rocket Internet dan Pierre Poignant pada 2012, dan dimiliki oleh Alibaba Group. Pada 2014, Lazada Group mengoperasikan situs-situs di Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina, Singapura, Thailand, dan Vietnam dan meraih sekitar US$647 juta dari beberapa putaran investasi dari para investornya seperti Tesco, Temasek Holdings, Summit Partners, JPMorgan Chase, Investment AB Kinnevik, dan Rocket Internet.

Lazada Indonesia sendiri didirikan pada tahun 2012 dan beroperasi hingga kini. Lamido, sebuah perusahaan inkubator Rocket Internet dibentuk pada bulan September 2013 lalu, tetapi akhirnya gulung tikar pada Juni 2016.

Pada bulan Oktober 2022, Lazada Indonesia menunjuk Isyana Sarasvati sebagai brand ambassador.
